David “Bubba” Thomas Hardy

David “Bubba” Thomas Hardy passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at age 30.  He is survived by his son, Rhian Lamar Blake Hardy; daughter, Marley Hardy; grandmothers, Dianne Hardy and Jewell Sandlin; stepmother, Amy Masisak; aunt, Donya Capps (Jason); uncle, Tony Gunn; cousins, Brittany Coleman (Jonathan), Austin Capps, Harleigh Nix, Maisie Colvin (Tyler Nichols), Heather Gilley, Grayson Capps, Luke Coleman, Adelyn Coleman, and Jaxon Coleman;  great uncle, Jerry Duffey (Irene); great aunt, Mae-Ann Anderson (Thomas); girlfriend, Lauren Nicole Brown and a host of other family members and friends.  David is preceded in death by his parents, Dana and Patty Hardy; one brother, Daniel Blake Hardy; his grandfather, Tommy Hardy; his grandparents, Lawson Gunn and Sandi Hawkins; and his cousin, Dustin Nix.  He had the biggest heart and would do anything for anybody.  He was a jokester, loved Auburn football, loved music, liked to tinker on cars, but most of all he loved his family.  His son and his cousins were the light of his life.  He adored them.  The world was brighter with him in it and there’s no way to describe how much he will be missed.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 11:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
