David W. McCleney

David W. McCleney, age 67 of Mt. Olive, passed away on Sunday November 3, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Beulah McCleney; and by his parents, Charles and Madeline McCleney.  He retired from Oliver and Son’s Starter and Generator Service after over 35 years of service.

He is survived by his children, Adam Smith (Tammy), Wendy Willmon, and Kelli Harper (Dwight); grandchildren, Gabrielle Smith, Holli Willmon, Samantha Willmon, Hannah Smith, David Willmon and Shiann Harper; great-grandchild, Ashton Dickinson; sister, Wanda Hill (Steve); brother, Harold McCleney (Nelda) and several nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens with Rev. Barry Dunn officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
