Cynthia Alford

 Beloved mother, grandmother, wife and sister, Cynthia Alford, died on July 4, 2023 after a long and full life. She was very loved and will be missed terribly. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the funeral service held in her honor at Walker Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Cynthia is survived by her son, Doug Alford (Michelle); grandchildren, Eli, Caleb and Seth Alford; brothers, John Cameron and Mike Cameron; sister, Michelle Marsh; and other extend family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Alford; her parents, John and Drolia Cameron; and one sister, Sue Smith. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Republic Baptist Church, 1552 Republic Rd, Birmingham, AL 35214.
