Connie Sue (King) Barrett

Connie Sue Barrett passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at age 72.  She is survived by one daughter Angela Barrett; one granddaughter, Malorie Robey; and other extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Annie Lee King.  Connie was a member of Springdale Baptist Church, The American Record Collectors Association, and Fultondale American Legion Post 255.  She was an avid Alabama football fan.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  Visitation will be Monday, February 27, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will be at Oak Grove First Baptist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
