Charlotte Morgan Ward

Charlotte Morgan Ward passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at age 86.  She is survived by two children, James Edward Ward, Jr.  (Jennifer) and Becky Burns (Jerry); three granddaughters, Jeris Gaston (Jordan), Kimberly Jones (Jeff), and Taylor Snuggs (Ryan); six great grandsons, Hayes and Graham Gaston, Ray and Samual Jones, &  William and Landon Snuggs; sister, Tina Clayton; and a host of other extended family and friends.  Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ward, Sr.; her parents, Chesley and Zora Morgan; brothers, Paul and Bobby Morgan and one sister, Margie Thomas.  She loved to garden and country cooking.  She was a life member of Post 255 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and held offices through the years.  Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Walker Chapel Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be Friday, March 4, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
