Charles Edward Clay

Charles "Chuck" Edward Clay, 68. 9/22/1953 - 3/15/2022. Survived by wife of 45 years, Susan Clay; daughter, Renée Handley (Larry); mother, Frankie Holloway Clay; sister, Cyndi Clay Bissonnette (Mark); Best Friend and confidant, Tim Glover; Bonus Daughter, Tonya Lucio; and grandson, Chase Campbell; as well as several nieces and nephews. Chuck is preceded in death by his father, Freddie Clay and brothers Fred Clay and Mikey Clay. Chuck marched to the beat of his own drum. He loved big and was always there to help a friend in need. He was an animal lover leaving behind his 4 dogs, Lucy, Bernard, Sebastian and Ace. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in his name to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.  A graveside service will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
