Brent Alan Matthews

Brent Matthews passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at age 33.  He is survived by his wife, Angel Matthews; mother, Karen Matthews; one brother, Kevin Matthews (Mary Beth); grandfather, Elmo Matthews; nieces and nephews, Kaley, Brinley, Austin, Colton, Josiah, and Keith; aunt, Patricia Findley (Steve); uncles, Wayne Hill (Shannon) and Steve Snow (Rita); and cousins and other extended family.  Brent was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Keith Matthews; grandparents, Gwen Matthews, John & Mae Leatherwood, and Ronnie & Dorothy Hill; and aunt, Rhonda Hill.  Brent loved children especially his nieces and nephews.  He always took time up with them.  He had a heart of gold and loved to cut up.  He will be missed so much by his family.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
