Billy Wayne Norton, Sr.

Billy Wayne Norton, Sr., age 73 of Gardendale, passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Lori Norton Leonard (Marty); 4 grandchildren, Zach, Zane, Zoe, and Joel "JT" Norton; brother, James Norton; sisters, Edna Vandergrift, Janice Lemons (Don), Carol Smith (Phillip), and Dorthy Ream.  Mr. Norton is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Billy was preceded in death by his son, Billy Wayne Norton, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Vance Belcher officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Billy will be laid to rest at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens; however, there will be no graveside services.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
