Becky D. (Alexander) Harris

Becky D. Harris, of Fultondale, passed away September 4, 2022, at the age of 80. She retired from Carraway Medical Center where she worked as an Oncology Unit Secretary for more than 20 years. She loved her job and the co-workers she worked along side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sim and Gracie Alexander; brothers, Bud Alexander, Roy Alexander and JB Alexander; and sisters, Stella Overton, Zettia Waid, Willodene Lawter, Dera Alexander and Crystle Shirley.  She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Wayne Harris; son, Michael Harris (Susan); daughters, Deborah Johnson, Pamela Kinsey and Cynthia Posey (James); 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Alexander (Peggy); sisters, Ellodean McGill, Ilene Watts, Virginia Beasley (Jimmy), Gurvis Elkins (Don) and Gladys Black (Glenn); and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
