Marvin "Jimbo" Boston Obituary (2016)

Marvin "Jimbo" Boston, age 72 of Adamsville, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lige and Nora Boston; 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. He served our country for 20 years in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Brooklin Lodge #704 F&AM in Dora. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean Boston; son, William D. Boston; brother, James Boston (Sara); numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
