Delitha Brewer Duncan Obituary (2012)

Delitha Brewer Duncan, age 72 of Mt. Olive, passed away on Saturday May 5, 2012. She was an employee of Hardy's Hybrid Daylily Farm where she had the distinct honor of having a new breed of lily named in her honor-Delitha (Hemerocallis). She was a member of Gardendale's First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollice Buddie and Delitha Jerene Brewer; brother, Roger Coker; and sister, Verva Jean Hudson. Delitha is survived by her daughter, Valeta Neal (Butch); grandchildren, Blake, Brandon, and Julianna Neal; brother-in-law, Shelley Hudson; nieces and nephews, S. Randall Hudson (Paula), Susan Davis (Brent) and their children, Logan and Keegan Hudson and Bryleigh Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Evangel Assembly of God in Mt. Olive with Rev. Jerry Lankford and Rev. Ronnie Legg officiating. Interment will follow at Graham Cemetery.
