Wynell (Nichols) Smith

Wynell Nichols Smith, 71, of Birmingham, AL passed away on December 29, 2017. Mrs. Smith was a God fearing woman, a loving mother, and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Wyman and Willie Mae Nichols, husband, James Roy Smith and her sister's, Helen Perkins (Earnest) and Peggy Warren (Lester). Survivors include her children: Tamara (Mike) Loughner, Kim (Terry) Aldridge and Dana (Louis) Aldridge; 6 grandchildren: James Loughner (Jessica), Jon Paul Stephenson (Sandi), Arron Vanderver, Chris Cole, Ryan Cole and Richard Aldridge; 9 great-grandchildren: Drake Loughner, Braeden Loughner, Seth Loughner, Ella Stephenson, Logan Stephenson, Tae Stephenson, Bryson James Stephenson, Lydia Cole and Zoey Cole; 3 sister's, Lois (Curt) Rainey, Pat Nichols and Jean (Dale) Simmons; brother, Donny (Mary Jo) Nichols. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Walker Memorial Gardens. Walker Chapel Funeral Home directing.
