William "Bill" W. Carlisle

William W. "Bill" Carlisle of Tuscaloosa, Alabama died June 1, 2017. He was born February 11, 1959 in Beaumont, Texas to parents Leroy and Margaret Carlisle. Bill grew up in Decatur, Alabama and graduated from Austin High School in 1977. He was employed at Mercedes Benz USA in Vance, Al. for the past 18 years. Bill was a unique man of courage and character and enjoyed many things in his life including music, photography, Alabama football, hunting, playing pool & darts, flying and spending time with his family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Margaret Carlisle who died 2007. He is survived by his son Andrew Wade Carlisle (Stephanie) of Hoover; brother, Wesley L. Carlisle (Pam) of Hartselle; two sisters, Wendy Carlisle Adams (Chris) of Homewood and Donna L. Matherly of Springfield, Illinios; his uncle Donald L. Carlisle of Gardendale, and longtime best friend Russell Cavanaugh (Amanda) of Tuscaloosa. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 with a memorial service following at 11:00 at Walker Chapel Funeral Home.
