Joe Scott

Joe Scott, age 84 of Fultondale, passed away on Saturday December 17, 2016 from a long illness.  Joe was a man of great faith in God, a Mason, and a retired employee of L&N and CSX Railroad.  He was preceded in death by a son, Kerry.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Barbara; 3 children, Connie (Jerry), Robin (Luann), and Barbara (Greg); 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Helms.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with his son, Rev. Robin Scott officiating.  Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
