Flossie H McCarty

Flossie H. McCarty, age 86, of Mt. Olive, AL passed away on November 27, 2017. She was an active member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church.  Mrs. McCarty was preceded death by her parents, Carl H. Horst and Lila Elizabeth Brady Horst, brother, Carl Lewis Horst, husband, Robert McCarty, Sr., son, Ronnie McCarty, and son-in-law, Roger Madison.  She is survived by her daughter, Lila Faye Madison; sons, Robert McCarty, Jr. and Dana McCarty; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017  at Mt. Olive First Baptist Church from 11:00am until the 12:00PM service time.  Reverend's Jon Ferguson and Doug Moore will officiate.  Burial will immediately follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olive First Baptist Church, 3200 Mt. Olive Road, Mt. Olive, AL 35117.  Walker Chapel Funeral Home directing.
