Constance Joyce Scott

Mrs. Constance “Connie” Williams Scott, died Friday, June 9, 2017 in Fultondale, AL at the age of 90. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Lavern Scott. Mrs. Scott is survived by her son, Steven G. Scott of Trussville, AL; her daughter, Torrey Pugliese Strickland (and husband, Stephen) of Fultondale, AL. Mrs. Scott is also survived by grandchildren, Doug Scott (Leslie), Blake Scott, Brooke Scott Thompson (Matt), Ember Pugliese, Lawrence Pugliese (Sarah), Scott Pugliese, Peyton Strickland, and Patrick Strickland. Her legacy continues with great-grandchildren: Mahala Scott and Matt Thompson, Jr. (M.J.) Mrs. Scott was born on September 28, 1926 in Greenfield, Tennessee. She worked as a claims adjuster for Aetna Insurance Company. After retiring, she enjoyed cooking, working with and making flower arrangements grown from her flower garden. She was known as “Nanny” to her beloved grandchildren. A Service will be held for Mrs. Scott on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Walker Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 with the service following at 2:00 in the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will be at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens
