Annie Ruth (Boots) Nation Obituary

Ms. Annie Ruth Nation went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 22nd, 2019. Born in Shiloh, Alabama to Arthur and Ethel Sims, Ruth was affectionately known to family and friends as "Boots", a nickname given to her by her father as a young child.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; Arthur and Ethel Findley Sims, her husband; Henry Nation, one son; Johnny Morgan, and two grandchildren; Lacey Anderson and Jared Anderson. She is survived by her children; Rita Lippett (Coy), Danny Morgan, Ronnie Morgan, Nita Menocal (Rafe), Kay Morgan, and Rick Nation, six grandchildren; Shannon Morgan, Matt Morgan, Heidi Akers, Austen Menocal, Carrie Morgan, and Ellison Nation, seven great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Faye Ramsey (James) and Jackie Holt.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Alacare Hospice for their selfless and passionate care during the final days of Boots life.

Graveside services for Ms. Nation will be held on Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens with the family receiving friends at Walker Chapel Funeral Home one hour prior to services.
