Pauline A. Frambach, Montgomery, Alabama, went Home to meet her Lord on March 25, 2024 at the age of 87. Pauline was born in Fairfield, Alabama and had resided in Montgomery, Alabama for over 50 years.
Pauline graduated from Ensley High School, Ensley, Alabama, Columbia Bible College (now Columbia International University), Columbia, South Carolina and Auburn University Montgomery, Montgomery, Alabama.
She is survived by her son, G. Peter Frambach, Huntsville, Alabama; her daughter, Sonya M. Frambach, Montgomery, Alabama; her brother, David Chapman (Lindy), Gardendale, Alabama; her nephew, James Chapman (Gardendale, Alabama) and her nieces, Tara Kennedy (Trafford, Alabama) and Teresa Lyons (Prattville, Alabama). She was preceded in death by her mother, Audie E. Chapman and sister, Sylvia J. Ivey.
For over 20 years she was the Director of the Montgomery Area Retired Senior Program (RSVP) in Montgomery, Alabama coordinating over 600 seniors through 90 community agencies. She was well known for the annual Recognition Luncheon Program for over 700 seniors and guests held at the Montgomery Civic Center. This Luncheon was the highlight of the year for most of these senior volunteers. She served as a resource person on Volunteerism and Aging in the local community, state and two national conferences: The National White House Conference on Aging and the National White House Conference on Volunteerism. The Volunteers looked forward to this banquet and program and for many it was the highlight of the year.
A very special thanks to Andrew, her nurse with Amedisys Hospice, Huntsville, Alabama who was readily available and brought comfort to her family during the short period of time she was under Hospice.
Three of Pauline’s favorite hymns were “In The Garden”, “Because He Lives” (I Can Face Tomorrow) and “O Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go”.
