Christopher Eugene Smith

Christopher Eugene Smith passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at age 38.  He is survived by three children, Christopher Jr, Landon, and Tana; his parents, Raymond David and Glenda Smith; sister, Allison Horton (Thomas); David Smith, Jr (Cassie); nephews and nieces, Tripp, Ashlyn, Destiny, and Trey; grandfather, Hugh Eugene Howard; uncle, Bob Howard (Vicki); cousins, Bobby Howard, Jr and Grant Howard; and other extended family and friends.  Chris was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Christine Howard and Stella Rushing.  He was a 2003 graduate of Fultondale High School.  He was always voted “best smile” in school because his smile was contagious. He was so witty and funny, always full of personality.  He will be forever missed and never forgotten.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Walker Chapel Funeral Home.
